Charlize Theron, who is one of those executive producers on the crime drama show, recently revealed on SiriusXM’s Howard Stern Show that the second season will be making its way on the streaming platform at August.
“Yeah, can not wait. Deep, dark… it is superb.” achieved to Netflix for confirmation, and the streaming agency told me that no release date was confirmed just yet.

Netflix formally confirmed another season on November 30, 2017, posting a mysterious video on Twitter using the statement: “We will need to talk to more subjects.”
Regarding the next season’s plot, director David Fincher told Billboard that it will tackle the real-life events of 79-81, two decades after season one — and he also touched on the usage of music.
“Next year we are taking a look at the Atlanta child murders, so we’ll have far more African music that will be nice,” he explained.
“The audio will evolve. It’s meant to support what’s happening with the show and for the show to evolve radically between seasons.”
The Atlanta child murders, regardless of the name, were a collection of 28 killings of African-American children, teens and adults. John Douglas, the offender profiler where Jonathan Groff’s character Holden Ford was based, was closely involved in profiling the killer and has been officially reprimanded over his behaviour during the case.
