The brand new HTC smartphones come with an acrylic glass back surface and boast of wearing the most prominent displays thus far in the HTC Desire series.

While the HTC Desire 12 is powered by a MediaTek processor and includes a 13-megapixel camera in the rear, the HTC Desire 12+ is backed by a Snapdragon 450 SoC and boasts of a dual camera setup at the rear.

HTC Desire 12 Specifications

HTC Desire 12 sports a 5.5-inch HD+ screen using a 1440×720 pixels resolution.

It’s powered by a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core SoC and includes a 3GB RAM plus 32GB internal storage that’s further expandable up to 2TB.

It runs Android using HTC Sense UI on top and can be backed by a 2730 mAh battery.

As for its optics, the HTC Desire 12 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera using f/2.2 aperture and attributes like PDAF, LED Flash, HDR mode and Full HD (1080p) video recording.

AT front, the gadget includes a 5-megapixel selfie shot with f/2.4 aperture.

Connectivity options on the smartphone contain a 3.5mm headphone jack, micro USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 and double (nano) SIM support. HTC Desire 12+ measures 148.5×70.8×8.2mm and weighs 137 g.

HTC Desire 12+ comes as the step-up version of the HTC Desire 12 and sports a 6-inch HD+ display using a 1440×720 pixels, resolution.

It is powered by an octa-core Qualcom Snapdragon 450 SoC Chipset and includes similar memory connectivity and offering options like the HTC Desire 12.

It runs Android 8.0 Oreo using HTC Sense on top and can be backed with a 2965 mAh battery.

The cameras around the HTC Desire 12+ include a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup at the rear with f/2.2 aperture and also features such as PDAF, Bokeh mode, Full HD recording and an LED Flash. In the front, the device sports an 8-megapixel camera using a f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash.
