The recent screen got upgraded as well. It currently shows running apps on the full screen without wasting any space. Xiaomi’s representative mentioned that while the current benchmark in Recent is a flat view, it isn’t optimized for 18:9 or even 19:9 screen ratios. Consequently, they switched to a vertical list of recent programs.

Sound

MIUI 10 comes with new and special sounds. Notifications now have water sounds. Each one of them is unique, just like water droplets, which means you’re never going to get tired of these. Sudeep also mentioned that”no two telling sounds on MIUI 10 are the same.” Therefore, if you get multiple alarms in fast succession, everyone will sound different. You’ll hear a sound of the sand when you delete things, like notes, contacts, or photos.

Sudeep talked a bit about portrait photographs too. He explained that Xiaomi has deep learning algorithms that are based on more than 100,000 pictures. Employing AI helps them take portrait photos with no more than one camera, though that’s not anything new anymore. Additionally, it works on indoor and low-light problems. This new way is built into MIUI 10, so all devices that receive MIUI 10 (listed below) will have the ability to take beautiful bokeh pictures.

For India

Xiaomi also showed us a few items designed primarily for India. It now includes a category for applications. Here you will see a lot of Progressive Internet Programs (PWA) for local services. The benefit of PWAs is they are small in size, but they may nevertheless be lost on your home screen and send notifications.
