Caffeine in black tea
Black tea also holds a good amount of caffeine for an adrenaline gush for its users. It is generally considered that the longer the tea bag is steeped in water the more the caffeine content in the drink.
Black tea on an average possesses about 22-28 mg of caffeine per gram of dried powder. The sad part is that most of the black tea manufactures do not list their caffeine content in their labels.
Caffeine in herbal tea
Herbal teas are derived from leaves, stems, flowers, seeds, roots and fruits of plant materials. Herbal teas are not actually tea and are plant derivatives.
Herbal teas possess 0% caffeine and are thus excellent alternatives for caffeinated beverages.
