Cosmetic updates are also expected on the soon to be launched scooter that gets sporty stickers, an all digital speedo games, aluminum footrests, smoke painted engine guard and shock absorbers which were painted red in the Auto Expo but observed in a white colour in the video.
Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally edition will be powered by the identical engine noticed on the normal version. This 113cc, single cylinder, air cooled engine provides 7 bhp peak electricity and 8.1 Nm peak torque mated to a CVT.
No costs have been announced as on date and will be revealed closer to launch. In terms of competition, the Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally edition will have to compete with the Suzuki Burgman Street that’s also an automated scooter and now being tested in India ahead of launch.
