Snapchat Responded to Change.org Petition on Redesigned App update – Snapchat has responded to some popular Change.org petition that criticises the app’s new redesign.
Snap Inc. posted an answer to the petition, which has over 1.2 million signatures, so the company acknowledges the complaints and appreciates the feedback from its customers.
Earlier this month, Snapchat established a redesign that has not been well-received. The company explained the redesign was to create the app a lot easier to use and it has no intention to roll back the upgrade.
“By putting everything from your friends in 1 area, we aimed to make it much easier to connect with the people that you care about most,” Snap Inc. composed as an answer to the petition. “The new Friends page will adapt for you and get smarter over time, representing who you’re most likely to be Snapping with at the moment. The same personalisation is also true of the new Discover, which will adapt to you the further that you use it.”

Snapchat said it has plans for another upgrade to introduce Friends and Discover tabs on iOS and Android devices, which might make it easier for users to find Stories they desire.
“This new foundation is simply the start, and we will always listen closely to discover new ways to make the service better for everybody,” Breeze Inc. wrote. “We’re thankful for your enthusiasm and creativity. We are very excited for what is ahead.”
