Samsung Galaxy S9 Launched with Augmented Reality Features, Samsung S9 Specs, Samsung S9 Price – Samsung introduced its new flagship smartphone Sunday with a concentration on augmented reality attributes as it attempts to keep its title as the world´s – biggest smartphone manufacturer.
With no other major handset maker using the yearly event, the world´s most extensive phone series, to launch a new flagship device this season, Samsung had the opportunity to catch the spotlight.

The S9 features the same layout as last year´s previous flagship, together with the entire screen and curved glass edge of the S8, which was followed closely by Apple´s iPhone X and many others.
But it includes louder sound, a faster chip and software that transforms selfies into revived emojis, which will attract customers who are increasingly preferring to use their phones to send text messages instead of talking.
Samsung also contained a dual-lens camera on the Galaxy S line for the first time, which will improve the low-light capture and enhance slow motion movie, which is famous for social networking.
It’s also one of the very few flagship phones left which still includes a standard headphone jack.
“Despite all these incremental innovations, Samsung will have to smartly leverage its brand and marketing machine to position the new smartphones to a target market correctly,” said Forrester analyst Thomas Husson.
Overall global smartphone sales for 2017 were virtually flat — down 0.1 percent at 1.47 billion units — as mobile makers struggled to come up with innovations that encourage clients to update their devices.

Samsung endured a humiliating recall of its Galaxy Note 7 apparatus in 2016 after many devices burst, but its Galaxy 8 smartphone proved to be a customer and critical achievement.
While it kept its lead over Apple since the world´s biggest seller of smartphones in 2017 with a 21.6 percent market share, up from 21.1 % in the preceding year, Samsung faces stiffer competition from Chinese competitions including Huawei and Xiaomi that offer cheaper handsets which have many high-end features.
The S9 will sell for 859 euros ($1,055), a cost which analysts warned could turn off most customers.
Though the S9´s camera is “markedly different” in quality from older smartphones which people already possess “customers may delay buying due to increasing flagship prices,” IHS Markit stated in a research note.

“Samsung must work hard to advertise the advantages of those designs to counter negative pricing perception.”
Huawei introduced a new laptop and tablet in Barcelona earlier on Sunday but will launch its new flagship smartphone the P20 — on March 27 at Paris.
Thomas stated that this would make it to “fine tune its marketing message based on the way consumers perceive the new Samsung S9 apparatus”.
Earlier on Sunday South Korea´s LG introduced the V30S — an updated version of its flagship V30 smartphone launched six months ago — which features higher artificial and memory intelligence-based technologies that concentrate on photographs and voice recognition.
More than 100,000 people are expected to embark on Barcelona for its annual show, which includes driverless carmakers, social media giants and chip companies along with handset makers.
