The Android malware focused more 232 banking apps. In that banking apps, there are few banks belongs to India. Quick Heal Security Labs stated that the Trojan malware named ‘Android.banker.A9480’ is mainly concentrated to steal the personal information regarding the customers.

Same as other banking malware system, it will collect the data like the login credentials, contact lists, SMS and it will upload them directly to the malicious server. In addition to this, the Trojan also focuses on the cryptocurrency apps which are available on the user’s mobile.
Android Malware focus Indian Bank apps
Here are the Indian banking apps which the Android banking Trojan has targeted. They are HDFC Mobile Banking, Axis, SBI Anywhere Personal, MobileBanking LITE, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, IDBI Abhay, IDBI mPassbook Bank, IDBI GO Mobile, Baroda mPassbook, Union Bank Mobile Banking System, Commercial clients of Union Bank.
Android Malware will enter through Flash Player
Quick Heal reported that the Android.banker.A9480 malware had entered the third-party stores through the fake Flash Player. The Flash Player is the favourite app especially for the cybercriminals because of its prevalence feature. Users will get various prompts soon after downloading this harmful attacking application. According to the report, the app will receive several pop-ups until it finds the way to activate the administrative privileges.
After the completion of app installation, the icon will not appear to the users even though he/she taps on it. This malicious app will start its work and steals all the information even if there is anyone app regarding the 232 banking apps on our mobile.
After the app chooses its focused app, it will send the notifications which are fake to us. They are similar as if it is the real banking app. If the customers try to open the fake notifications, they are asked to enter the login details. Using this method, they will steal the complete information like login ID and passwords.
