Android One vs Android:

The former is open source, this is the biggest difference between the Android, and Android One and OEMs and manufacturers can make as many changes as they want to the operating system. Adding more features, Android OS can tweak slowly and a customised skin to set the OEM apart from others.

And by the OEMs the software and security updates also regulated, and Google plays little part in it. To convert non-smartphone users into smartphone users, its platform primarily launched. Google offers pure Android experience with that in mind and regular updates to compatible phones, limiting OEMs work. For OEMs reduce the work and sets s hardware standard.

The phone gets software support for two years; Google has promised while for Android OS users, it has left to the OEMs discretion.
