Jai Lava Kusa story: Jr NTR Jai Lava Kusa Movie Review

Lava and Kusa are the brothers of Jai and Jai saves them, reveals his love for them at the end. In the climax, twist to the Jai character and movie ends.

Jai looks unconvincing, Lava and Kusa decided to die for his brother. At the beginning of the film, Posani has a brief presentation, and he comes back towards the pre-climax.

To reunite with them, Lava and Kusa trying to convince Jai through a stage act came out well. So far, in the movie, this is the best emotional block. To capture the dancing ability of Tamannah, Swing Zara item number has choreographed so well. And, for the masses, this song will have a big treat.

To convince his love interest, Nivetha Thomas, the second half started with Jai using his brothers and his political entry to convince people. So, like Jai, all the three characters look.

With a fight, Ravan (Jai) makes his entry. And from Tarak, Tring Tring song is a dancing treat. From falling love story with Rashi, Kusa turns Lava to save him and save his job from a cheating that happened in the bank loan.

Kusa wants to exchange the stolen cash using Lava bank job due to the demonetization effect. And, Kusa keeps the screen lively, and NTR as innocent Lava Kumar is so natural and real.

Kusa meets Lava by making an accident. Each other recognise them and as a bank manager to Kusa, honest Lava sharing his struggle. With the Dochestha song, Kusa will entry. The choreography is very routine. When three of them are kids, they get separated.

Plus points:

Mainly due to NTR, Jai Lava Kusa clicks. With his performance, the star hero just nails the film. As the evil Jai, he is super menacing and showcases the subtleness as Lava and has knotty as Kusa. In all his roles, the way he as showcased variations is surely worth a mention and proves what an actor he is.

Between the three brothers, the emotional thread showcased has executed well during the last ten minutes. Raashi Khanna played her role very well. Fights and thrills are good in the movie. As the film ends on an emotional character, the climax is fascinating. Sai Kumar had made justice to his role, and Ronit Roy makes a decent Tollywood debut.

Minus Points:

Jai Lava Kusa story is predictable, and you exactly know what is going to happen next. As some more good songs could have helped matters much, Devi Sri Prasad music is not up to the mark.

And, as good and bad moments keep coming in one after the other, the film has a roller coaster feel. Heroines in the movie do not have much to do and Nivetha Thomas role, in particular, has no motto and looks outright silly. In only a few areas, the emotional bonding between the brothers.

Some logics go missing in the film. There has no proper ending, as the bank issue where the money goes missing and also the way Pradeep Rawat character has ended look out of place.

Technical aspects:

As the visuals have pleasing, the film looks quite. Chota K Naidu camerawork is excellent, and especially those scenes which showcase NTR in a triple role has quite realistic. As we said, DSP music is ok, but the background score is fantastic.

The dialogues are excellent and written for the NTR stammering part. Bobby, the film director, has done an okay job with the movie. Even though he has written Jai character well, there is no feeling of brotherly bonding except for the climax. Scene wise, the film is good, but when you club it as a whole, there have many loopholes.

NTR one-person show is Jai Lava Kusa. For fans, the film is surely a treat as they will love Jai negative role in particular. The way it has showcased ends up as good watch for fans even though the film has an old school storyline and slow narration and an average watch for the regular audience.
