In India tomorrow, Ducati has all set to launch its much-awaited Ducati SuperSport, and the bookings for the same have already begun across all dealerships in the country. Internationally, in two trims, the motorcycle has offered – SuperSport and SuperSport S.

The vehicle has powered by the 937cc Testastretta L-Twin engine which also powers the Hypermotard 939 and the Multistrada 950. It comes with a 6-speed transmission setup and produces 93Nm of torque and 110 horsepower.

In the same state of tune, the S variant of the SuperSport gets the same engine, but it gets more features like a quick shifter with auto blipper for easier gear shifts.

It allows for three riding modes as there has the ride by wire – one that limits the power output to 75 horsepower and has meant for city riding, touring mode for all the power delivered but a calmer throttle response and an all-out riding mode that gives sharp throttle response with full power delivery.

The SuperSport looks same to the 959 Panigale while regarding looks; it uses the Monster Trellis frame. Regarding price, it has expected to have positioned below the 959 Panigale and has meant for those kinds of riders who like to have a motorcycle that can have ridden every day with occasional trips to the racetracks.

SuperSport costs about Rs 10 lakh:

Ducati has suited the SuperSport with lower set footpegs to deliver on this claim, given it a more relaxed riding position and there has an adjustable windscreen on offer too.

We expect the base SuperSport to cost around Rs 10 Lakh. By Ducati India, we still have to see how aggressively the motorcycle has priced that will have announced tomorrow.

Though there is no entry level sportbike with the design inspired by the Panigale, the Ducati SuperSport with easier ergonomics and performance for everyday riding.

The higher spec Ohlins suspension, the S variant gets as well as a bi-directional quick-shifter, while the standard option will have a Sachs monoshock and Marzocchi upside down forks at the front.
