Mavic Pro has an inbuilt camera. Karma has separate GoPro camera. It is attached to the front side, and it adds some additional size and weight.

Mavic Pro uses 1-inch 12-megapixeled camera while GoPro has 2.3-inches 12-megpixeled CMOS sensors (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductors). Both the drones can shoot JPEG and RAW photos as well as 4K videos.

Intelligent Flight Modes:

Mavic Pro uses sensors and cameras. The drone uses them for Flight Autonomy obstacle avoidance system, object tracking system and gesture control system. Karma did not have obstacle avoidance and “Follow Me” features.

GoPro Karma drone costs $799. Still, it requires an additional camera.

  1. LOL this is the most bias opinion on anything, there are so many other features the Karma has over the DJI. Removable Karma Grip, back pack, usable without smartphone, Camera transferred from Drone to hand held easily for versatility with filming.
